Community Based Research Centre Reports and Publications

Community-Based Research Centre (CBRC) promotes the health of gay, bi, trans, Two-Spirit, and queer men (GBT2Q) through research and intervention development. Their website has an archive of studies they’ve published through the years, such as the Sex Now survey on Gay men’s sexual practices, and the Investigaytors Study.


Manitoba Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections Strategy — Manitoba Government

An in-depth publication detailing Manitoba’s strategy on the reduction and treatment of STBBI (sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections) throughout the province.


M-Track Survey — Vancouver Island Health Authority

The M-Track Survey was a study conducted by the Vancouver Health Authority in Victoria, to track changes in the transmission of HIV and other STBBIs, as well as, the related sexual behaviour of men who have sex with men in the area.


Trans Pulse

A Canada based research project focusing on Trans and Non-Binary health, which has conducted studies based in Ontario, and later throughout Canada, as recently as 2019. The 2019 study included researchers from Manitoba and the published results of their studies, as well as a series of blog articles, are available for viewing on their website.


The Health of LGBTQIA2 Communities in Canada — Canadian House of Commons

A report from the House of Commons Standing Committee of Health discussing the state of 2SLGBTQ+ health across Canada including sexual health, non-sexual physical health, mental health, substance use, health in relation to social life, issues faced by minorities in the community, income and more.
